Born in 1959 in Saitama Prefecture. Graduated from Kawagoe High School in 1978 and Waseda University in 1982.
Worked as a social studies teacher at several public high schools in Saitama until 2020.
Currently active as a freelance tour guide and as a volunteer guide (affiliated with TFG).
Hobbies include playing the flute and hiking. I often practice the flute alone in karaoke rooms, and on fine days I visit nearby low mountains. Recently, I have also begun playing the ocarina, a gift from a guest, and I am cultivating bonsai and moss.
I live with my wife, who is the same age as me, and our small lovebird, Epi.

National Certified Tour Guide Interpreter (EN00372) / Authorized Tour Conductor (14-20-D074) / Practical English Proficiency, Level 1 / Qualified as a Domestic Travel Business Manager (2019) / Certified as a Comprehensive Travel Business Manager (2020)
