1. My Tour Concept
As a former high school social studies teacher, I offer tours that go beyond standard sightseeing—providing deep insights into Japan’s history, culture, and society. I also focus on creating affordable and budget-friendly tours, ensuring you get rich, meaningful experiences without unnecessary costs.
2. Service Area, Duration & Group Size
Based in Saitama, I offer custom tours ranging from short half-day walks (from 2 hours) to full-day excursions, mainly in Tokyo and Saitama.
- Group Size: Up to 7 guests for a private tour limited exclusively to your family or group, ensuring a personalized experience.
- Duration: Flexible duration starting from 2 hours. Multi-day tours are also available upon request, subject to schedule availability.
3. Transportation
Tours are conducted primarily on foot and via public transportation. Taxis may be used if necessary. Please note that buses and taxis are not reserved in advance.
4. Guiding Fees & Expense Policy
- Guiding Fee: ¥5,500 per hour.
- Included: Guide’s standard transportation and meal expenses.
- Excluded (Guest Responsibility): Admission fees and taxi fares for both guests and the guide.
- Payment: Cash only (Japanese Yen), paid directly to the guide on the day of the tour.
5. Tour & Facility Reservations
- Paid Attractions: Guests are required to book their own tickets/reservations.
- Free Attractions: I will handle reservations for venues that are free of charge but require advance booking (e.g., Disaster Prevention Center).
6. Booking & Cancellation Policy
- Booking: Please submit your inquiry through this website. A booking is confirmed when I send an email confirmation accepting your preferred date and time. No advance deposit is required.
- Cancellation Fees:
- 2 days before or earlier: No cancellation fee.
- 1 day before: 50% of the guiding fee.
- On the day: 100% of the guiding fee.
- Payment Method for Cancellation: Amazon Gift Card (Japanese Yen) sent via email.
- Severe Weather / Force Majeure: If a tour is canceled by mutual agreement due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, no cancellation fee will apply.
7. Insurance & Liability
- Travel Insurance: Guests are strongly advised to purchase their own travel insurance prior to the tour.
- Liability: I shall not be held liable for any injuries, illness, theft, or property loss/damage during the tour, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence on my part.
8. Privacy & Photography
- Privacy Policy: Personal information collected during the booking process (such as names, email addresses, and phone numbers) will be used solely for tour coordination and will never be shared with third parties.
- Photography: Photos taken during the tour may be used for promotional purposes on my website or social media. If you prefer not to have your photos published, please inform me in advance.
